Lean Cuisine

- "Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese' -

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Presentation: ⭐️⭐️
This is a frozen Lean Cuisine dish, so the "presentation" is a microwavable container, truly chic. Actually not that bad as far as microwave dinners go.

Flavor: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
You know, this was pretty good. The white cheddar definitely added a surprising heft of flavor; I definitely enjoyed ingesting it.

Creaminess: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The creaminess of this mac was the standard for cheeses that are microwaved, which is not bad, but can get a little bit watery on occasion. Very average creaminess, not necessarily good or bad.

Cheesiness: ⭐️⭐️
Although this cheese sauce was flavorful, the true cheesiness of it wasn't really there. This makes sense, being that it is a microwavable cream sauce, so only the cheesy flavor/essence of it is the only place that the cheesiness comes through.

Overall Experience:
This mac-eating experience was surprisingly good, especially for a microwavable macaroni dish. The pasta itself was a little grainy, but definitely not bad. The incorporation of cavatappi noodles added a nice pinch of panache. In any event, who can really argue with a meal that takes 4 minutes to prepare?
